Syria

Six years of war has torn Syria apart, unleashing one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history. Hundreds of thousands have been killed, while millions have been displaced within the country and elsewhere. Syrian parents are faced with such difficult decisions as they struggle to keep their children safe and healthy, while many others are orphans and have no one to look after them.

Displaced Syrian families lack adequate shelter, food, and basic supplies. Al Fatiha Global has established a presence in places where families have fled in the countryside regions of Idlib, Aleppo and Latakia. Help is needed now, more than ever, in providing food, clothing, shelter, education and medical attention to these families.

Syria has been a living nightmare for men, women and children, struggling to survive under such unimaginable hardship.

The extreme trauma of war is leading not only to psychological scars, but also developmental issues and significant increases in heart disease, diabetes and depression. Inside Syria, over 7 million children are growing up knowing nothing but war.  Being consistently exposed to constant stress, chances of recovering fully are diminishing by the day, but it’s not too late to help.

We’ve seen how generous donations have transformed Syrian lives and their communities over the years. Help us meet the most urgent needs of Syrian refugees and empower them to make a positive step towards a brighter future.

Al Fatiha Global runs a number of projects for Syrians, this includes establishing the Al Fatiha Global Refugee Camp Inside Syria, which is supported by regular aid container deliveries.  The blue tents in the image above were donated via Al-Fatiha Global.
